- Haven't even owned Electric Quilt 24 hours, and already aggravated at anti-piracy policy. Why treat legit users like criminals-in-waiting? #
- My dog Dixie has bloat (what the dog died of in _Marley & Me_). Don't know if she'll make it. Honestly, what gods did I anger this year? #
- Dixie's stable and coming home for observation. 25% chance she won't make it through next 48 hours, but if she does, she'll be OK. #
- Taking Dixie on a car ride to emergency vet. Don't think she's coming back. #
- Vet says she hasn't bloated again, but she's shocky. Giving fluids and doing bloodwork. Still grim, but not hopeless yet, maybe, please. #
- Dixie made it through the night, and was much perkier this AM after fluids/abx. Long way from out of the woods, but prospects are better. #
- Dixie is home now, and we think she's going to be fine. We're lucky to have such good vets who pulled her through. #
- I hope the proverbial door DOES hit 2009 square in the behind on its way out, good and hard. Good riddance, and better things in 2010! #
